Christmas Market - Star Lamps

More ideas for the Christmas decoration. These star lamps reminded me of the patio decoration I showed you in July. They really add a special atmosphere.

Christmas Market Carousel

Of course there are also carousels at the Christmas markets for the kids. I especially like this one which is a bit more nostalgic with the old wooden horses. In the background you see the market church which is partly under renovation at the moment.

Christmas Market Impression

Part of the Christmas market around the city hall with the civil registry office on the left and you might recognize the "red bubble house" (as I call it) in the background from earlier pictures.

Winter Wedding

Some people don't only "dream of a white Christmas" but also of a "white winter wedding" as I noticed in front of the civil registry office here. Well, unfortunately we won't have a white christmas this year (at least that's what the weather forecast keeps telling us) but here is a nice solution for still going on a sleigh ride...

Christmas Market - Wooden Decoration

It's Christmas season again and with that comes the Christmas market around the city hall in Wiesbaden. The most popular stands are the ones where they sell Glühwein but there are some other nice ones as well - great to find small gifts for Christmas and to get new items for this years' Christmas decoration like on this photo.

Pumpkins, Grapes and "Federweißer"

Typical fruits and vegetables for Fall, together with "Federweißer". Federweißer is some kind of really young wine - just a few weeks old - the fermentation had started but was stopped in order to have this young, sweet and fresh beverage; it nearly tastes like juice but it's hard to describe - I'm afraid you'll have to try it for yourself ;) . Photo taken at the market in downtown Wiesbaden.
